Don't post a guard whose card expired last week.
Every guard carries a state-issued unarmed guard card, and armed guards add a firearms permit that has to stay current through periodic requalification, usually annual, on top of the base license. A scheduler assigning posts across a dozen client sites has no reliable way to know which guard's card and permit are current for which site.
The way most firms find out something lapsed is expensive: a state licensing board audit, a client site's own compliance check pulling guard cards before letting a contractor on the property, or, worst of all, an incident involving a guard whose license or firearms qualification had already lapsed. By then it's a contract at risk, not a reminder someone missed.
