Text messages from Composed Studio
We only text you for two reasons: you asked for a sign-in code, or a certification or warranty deadline you're responsible for is coming up. That's it, no marketing, ever. The legal version of this page lives at SMS Terms.
What you might receive
Here's what each one looks like:
Sign-in codes only show up if you chose text messages as your two-step verification method yourself. Credential reminders only show up if an organization you belong to put your number on file for them. How often you hear from us depends entirely on how often you sign in and what deadlines you have. There's no set schedule. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Turning on text sign-in codes
Open your account's Sign-in & security page and choose Set up next to Text message under two-step verification. We'll ask for the number that should get the codes and for your password, then text you a code to confirm the number is really yours. Here's the screen, including the consent notice exactly as it reads:
Set up text message codes
Enter the phone number that should receive a code each time you sign in.
Turning it off
Two ways. Either one works on its own, so pick whichever is handier:
Reply STOP to any text from us
This blocks everything we send to your number, immediately, sign-in codes included. So if texting was your only two-step verification method, set up an authenticator app or email codes before you'll need them. Changed your mind? Reply START and texts resume.
Turn it off in your account
On Sign-in & security, choose Manage next to Text message, then Turn off text message codes. This only stops the sign-in codes, which is handy if you still want credential reminders.
Getting help
Reply HELP to any message from us, or email hello@composedstudio.com. Both reach the same people. The formal opt-in, opt-out, and help language is in the SMS Terms, and our Privacy Policy covers what we do (and don't do) with your phone number.
Credential reminders for a team you manage
If you track certifications or warranties for other people, say, workers in CertFleet, the reminder goes to their phone, not yours. So when you enter someone's number, we ask you to confirm they've actually agreed to receive those texts. It looks like this:

If your team burns hours on work that software should be doing, tell us about it. One of our products may already cover it. If not, we'd like to hear what's missing.
